Toyota, French energy provider EDF, and the City and the Urban Community of Strasbourg today launch a large-scale Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle demonstration in Strasbourg. The project involves about 100 Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHVs) as well as a dedicated charging infrastructure for the use of public and private partners in Strasbourg and its region. It has received support via the Research Fund managed by the French Environment and Energy Management Agency ADEME.

EDF SA's Board of Directors, meeting on 10 February 2010 under the chairmanship of Henri Proglio, approved the Group's consolidated accounts for fiscal year 2009.

EDF and Exelon Reach Agreement Concerning Autonomy of Constellation Energy Nuclear Group

On Monday, 16 November 2009, EDF inaugurated the new laboratories of the materials ageing research centre (Materials Ageing Institute, MAI) at Renardières in Moret-sur-Loing (77).

Group’ssales continued to grow thanks to the buoyant International activities,which benefited from a substantial contribution of British Energy (€2.5billion). Sales in the United Kingdom increased by 44.3%, and by 12.1%on an organic basis. The Maryland PSC has attached conditions designedto preserve the independence and financial strength of ConstellationEnergy’s regulated subsidiary.
